Fuel Stop Fire Valve
In order to meet with current building regulations for fire safety it is necessary to operate a remote acting fire valve that protects the home.
Fire valves must conform to BS 5410 and be certified to OFTEC standard OFS E101.
In the event of a fire it is essential to ensure that the oil supply to the property is isolated and is prevented from fuelling the fire. Subsequently it is not permissible for a domestic oil supply pipe to enter the building underground. Instead the pipework should rise outside from an external wall where the fire valve must be installed in the oil pipe before it enters the building.
Suitable for both gravity fed and pressure jet burner appliances, fire valves are also required for external boilers.
Two temperature ranges are available, 72°C & 95°C. Either temperature range can be used on boiler appliances whereas the higher temperature setting must be used on an Aga or a stove.

The ‘Fuel Stop’ Fire valve is a British made product which is the market leader for performance & reliability. Featuring a manual isolation valve to allow for quick and easy testing.
The valve is sensitive enough to operate against low domestic flow rates yet also remains stable when managing the larger volumes associated to commercial installations without prematurely tripping the diaphragm.
Available in sizes from 10mm up to 1/2” BSP with capillary lengths up to 35m.
