Diesel Fuel Conditioners

Diesel fuel conditioners are an effective and modern way to treat and control the microbiological contamination of fuel systems.

The increase in the percentage of permissible biodiesel content in both Diesel EN590 and Gas Oil BS2869 results in increased levels of micro bacterial contamination found in diesel engines.

Bacterial contamination of distillate fuels and oils is now a common problem and is well known as being responsible for extensive damage to diesel engines throughout all areas of industry.

Our range of fuel conditioners uses proven methods to prevent the damage associated with micro bacterial fuel contamination.

How does a Fuel Conditioner work?

Fuel conditioners use a magnetic field to break the microbiological contamination down into individual cells which are less than 1 micron in size. Contaminants are then burnt up in the engine as part of the combustion process.

We offer two different types of fuel conditioner:

ETA type: Generally fitted to the dispenser as this protects all vehicles which fill from it, but it can also be fitted to larger generator and engine feed lines.

FXT type: A smaller inline unit suitable for installation to vehicle engine and generator fuel lines to protect the fuel supply, preventing power loss and increasing the service life of engine components.

Suitable for Transport, Rail, Marine, Mining and Agricultural applications, the installation of a fuel conditioner will protect your diesel engines and generator sets for years to come.
